shrink furniture by Nicola Zocca, brilliant!

You don't need glue or screws to fix furniture if you've got a working brain. Nicola Zocca experimented with the simple yet brilliant idea of using hot air to shrink a plastic wrap, which fastens the precisely milled pieces of wood and bent steel sheets. The results is not only pleasant to the intellect but also to the eyes. Bravo!

Isn't this a fabulous idea? Back in 2008 the guys from MyFirst presented a prototype of a roto-moulding machine they had built to explore and get a deeper understanding of the process. They have taken further the idea designing and manufacturing a beautiful roto-moulding machine that comes flat packed and ready for you to start discovering the potentials of resins and moulds.
